Where it all began….
the Dakar in 360 Degrees of Canadiana in the heart of the Mexican Baja Penninsula… Shawna Baja, mexican jumping beans and a few (ok, more than a few) Dakar Desert Racers…
What can I say but WOO-HOO!
Well, it’s 2008 and the Baja 500 is weeks away. What will 2008 have in store and who will return from 2007? Which North American Dakar Racers are hitting the Baja desert?
I am thinking a little bit-o-Robby Gordon.
Mark Miller may buzz the tower with a fly by.
Darren Skilton may take the wheel.
Charlie’s gang from Team Rally Pan America? The guys that took me under their wing for the 2007 event and gave my my first Dakar kick in the right direction? Will they be MIA?
Guess I have to get on a plane and scope it all out. Till then, dreaming of mexican jumping beans and warmer weather than here in Vancouver.
