Dakar LOG – 2008 Dakar Rally Cancelled

you heard me – I am still wrapping my head around it. As of noon this afternoon, the day before the rally was to begin, the A.S.O. announced that they are canceling the Rally.


Will write more later on my blog – just with the team right now as we figure out our plans past this point.

    Hey !!
    So sorry to hear about the cancellation, nevemind the luggage.
    If anything, take the time to explore Lisbon or any other parts of Portugal and have some vino while you are there, we had a blast there.
    I can’t believe it myself that the rally has been canclled.

    What else can we say…..we were so disappointed for Shawna but on the otherhand would not want to see anyone including our daughter go anywhere dangerous…..love to Shawna…Mom & Dad XXOO
