TravelLOG – Side Trails and City of Lights (XMAS ones)

Ok, November 3rd – I had a short stop-over in Calgary. After checkin’ in with Kevin Ostlund of HRT Off-Road before they left for the Baja 1000 Desert Race, I went for a walk down my ole’ running trail…

This time, I wasn’t running, but I ran into the annual raising of the lights – Calgary’s Famous “Festival of Lights” – in the making and I happened to have my camera…

Funny how your route can change with the seasons… and how over time, walking the same path can lead to new discoveries.

Funny thing if you are looking. Not so funny if you aren’t looking and you miss it.

So far, this is what I have found along the way…

Keep your eyes on the trail and your periferal on the look out for those cool side trails – you never know where they might lead…

Have a great night and see you on that side trail just off of somewhere – on the edge of almost nowhere.
